Since 1970, credit unions have been federally insured through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), an arm of the National Credit Union Administration. The United States government backs this fund with full faith and credit, just as it does the FDIC. Your deposits are insured for up to $250,000 and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are insured separately up to $250,000.
Members may increase their insurance coverage by putting their share/share certificate accounts into different ownership types.

Lost or Stolen Debit MasterCard
Attention all members. If your MasterCard® Debit Card has been lost or stolen please call the following numbers to report the loss. Call one of our offices during regular business hours Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, (except Holidays) 714-850-5157 or 562-924-1843.
For ATM Cards and ACFCU MasterCard® Debit Card that have been lost or stolen outside of normal business hours, please call 1-800-754-4128.
Auto Club Federal Credit Union is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution organized to promote thrift and provide credit to members. It is member-owned and controlled through a board of directors elected by the membership. The board serves on a volunteer basis and may hire a management team to run the credit union. The board also establishes and revises policy, sets dividend and loan rates, and directs certain operations. The result: members are provided with a safe, convenient place to save and borrow at reasonable rates at an institution which exists to benefit them, not to make a profit.
If you are an employee of the Auto Club of Southern California, AAA Texas, AAA New Mexico, AAA Hawaii, AAA Alabama, Pleasant Holidays LLC, and if you are a retiree of the previously named organizations, you are eligible to join.
Once you join the Credit Union, regardless of where you work or live, you receive lifetime membership as long as you maintain at least $5.00 in a regular savings account and remain a member in good standing.
The benefits of membership are also available to your entire family. Your spouse, children, grandchildren, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and those living under the same household are all invited to become member-owners of the Auto Club Federal Credit Union!
